Sheba has enlisted Christina Hendricks to star in its new TV ad by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.
It is a decision that borders on the meta when you consider her role as Joan Harris in the advertising drama Mad Men, but few are likely to worry about that. The ad doesn’t vary much from the classic Sheba format, and opens with Hendricks talking about how to get what you want. Meanwhile, a cat slinks around her house and an instrumental version of Fever plays in the background. The work was written by Diane Leaver, art directed by Simon Rice and directed by Bruno Aveillan through Friend and Quad. Post-production was handled by MPC.
